This is the toughest sounding song on the album. Jeremy and I had tried different things, then one night our friend Rohan Kay was over. I went on the keyboard, Rohan on the guitar, and Jeremy on bass, but there was not much energy to the recording. Then i played the electronic drum kit instead and the song came alive. I overdubbed the piano after. The we got Rohan's guitar part and doubled it for the finish. I had harmonica solos to play, but with the key shifting I had to use three different harmonicas. I was trying to get my friend Greg Millard to come and play the harmonica but the timing would not allow. Then Jeremy and I came up with sythesiser solo idea which I think worked out well. The songs a bit dark, but I think a bit funny as well, and I suppose the message is to make the most of things.

I went to the shop and bought a sausage roll
It wasn’t very hot, so I threw it in a hole
I went to my friend’s, but my friend he wasn’t there

And proceeded to ask me stuff, like how’s your kid like school
I went to my Doctor and she put me on the couch
She said this will not hurt a bit, but it did so I went Ouch

I went to the hospital and they said Please get some rest
Then woke me every hour to give me another test
I went to the Morgue, to see my Uncle Jack
